This course is for currently licensed professionals and those preparing for professional licensure. Review of case law and the role of the expert witness. The surveyor’s responsibilities from contract to completion. Minimizing exposure to lawsuits and BPELS actions. Basic components of a Record of Survey and filming requirements. Focus on the Professional Land Surveyors Act and Board Rules. Basic understanding of the Standard of Care as it relates to survey practice and the law. Review of the Surveyor’s Code of Conduct, Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (BPELS) enforcement cases. A guest speaker from BPELS will present. |

Please note:

Once you are on the fast track web site, click on the “Fundamentals of AutoCad” to see what
the class will cover and how long the class will run.
If you want to register for the class click on the “Calendar & Registration” option at the left
of the web site. Select the AutoCad class (January 3) and click on “Register Now”.
This will give you all the information about the class. If you want to continue registering,
